Triangle Nail Art!
Hello everyone! Today we have a nail art design for you that's quite easy and looks great!
This design was made using the taping technique, and if you haven't heard of it, it's when you use tape to create neat shapes and lines on your nails. This art only works if you have two completely different colours, with the top colour opaque in one coat. Here is a picture of my first try at this technique.
I started off painting my nails completely, with this silvery-blue nail polish.
When this is dry, cut out shapes in any tape that you have available and stick them over your nails in any design that you want. Make sure that the tape is pressed down firmly, to prevent any of the top nail polish from leaking through.
Now paint your nails in the top colour, that should be completely different to the one that you have already put on your nails, painting over the tape.
Straight after you have done this, peel the tape off. This is because if you wait to peel of the tape after the top colour has dried, you can peel the whole coat off your nails.
Leave your nails to dry, and once they have, finish them off with a clear top coat to protect your design.
For this design I used a new nail polish that I found at Poundland called Outdoor Girl in Blue and Barry M Black.
If you have tried this design or any other versions, we would love to see! If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment!
